What the content is
The service descriptions, articles and technical content published here are general information based on our experience. They are written to be accurate and useful, and they are not a substitute for advice about your specific system.
Our articles frequently include commands, configuration examples and diagnostic steps. Those are illustrative. Systems differ, and a command that is safe on one host can be disruptive on another. Test on a system you can afford to break, take a backup you have verified, and understand what a command does before running it on production. You remain responsible for changes you make to your own systems.
What we do not promise
Nothing on this site is a guarantee of a commercial outcome. In particular, we do not promise specific search rankings, specific traffic figures, or that any search or answer engine will cite a given page. No agency controls those systems.
Security work reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and no honest provider will tell you otherwise.
Accuracy and changes
We try to keep this site current and we correct errors when we find them. Technical information can go out of date as software changes. Articles carry a publication date, and an update date where they have been materially revised, so you can judge how current they are.
We may change, move or remove content on this site at any time.
